SACRAMENTO, CA (April 30, 2025) – NorCal Premier Soccer is proud to announce the addition of AC Marin into the ECNL Regional League Boys – NorCal Division, effective beginning in the 2025/26 season.
AC Marin becomes the third club to join the NorCal Division of the ECNL Regional League, alongside SF Elite Academy and South Valley United, after 25 clubs were originally announced as founding members.
“Since AC Marin joined NorCal Premier Soccer in 2020, they have been one of the top clubs on the boys side, constantly competing for titles and earning several promotions along the way,” said NorCal Director of Competitions Daniel Chamberlain. “AC Marin’s inclusion in the ECNL Regional League Boys – NorCal Division will only strengthen the quality of the league and ensure that each club involved will face top-level competition every time they step on the field.”
Added AC Marin Executive Director Messias Souza dos Santos: “We are very honored and grateful to be accepted into the league. We truly believe that the platform will support our player development model and will provide our players with the necessary opportunities to achieve their dreams and goals. The journey continues!”
The clubs selected to be members of the updated ECNL RL – NorCal division are top-performing boys and girls programs within NorCal Premier Soccer. Clubs were evaluated based on the quality of the teams and their performance in NorCal competitions over the past three years, a review of their technical standards, and their adherence to NorCal administrative standards.
“The addition of AC Marin into this division shows how strong, robust, and impactful this league is for players, teams, and clubs,” said ECNL-RL Commissioner Chris Leahey. “AC Marin will add significant quality to the league, will compete for championships, and their players will be challenged and showcased in the nation’s top competition pathway."
